At Retro vGames, your satisfaction is our priority. All new and pre-owned products sold by us are backed by our 1-Year Free Warranty. Below are the full details for returns, exchanges, refunds, and warranty coverage.

Return Eligibility

  • Items must be returned within 30 days for refund requests (defective/damaged) or exchange/store credit for change-of-mind
  • After 30 days, items are covered under the 1-year warranty for repair or replacement (no refunds)
  • Items must be returned in original condition with all parts, accessories, and packaging
  • A valid receipt or order confirmation is required

Change-of-Mind Returns

Returns due to change of mind may be accepted within 30 days but may incur a 10% restocking fee. Customers are responsible for return shipping.

How to Start a Return

  1. Email help@retrovgames.com with your order number, photos/videos, and reason for return
  2. Wait for return authorization and instructions (including correct return address)
  3. Ship the item securely using a trackable method and keep your tracking number

Important: Do not ship returns without approval. Always use the address provided in your return authorization email.

Return Shipping

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping unless the return is due to our error
  • We provide prepaid labels for defective/incorrect items within the U.S. or Canada
  • International return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility
  • Use a trackable carrier — we are not responsible for lost returns without tracking

Refund Policy

  • Defective/Damaged Items: Full refunds available within 30 days if requested
  • Refund Timing: Processed within 5–7 business days after inspection; banks may take longer
  • Non-Refundable Charges: Expedited shipping and warranty add-ons
  • Chargebacks: Filing a dispute before contacting us may result in denial of your return

Items Not Eligible for Return

  • Gift cards
  • Items outside the 30-day refund window (warranty still applies)
  • Products altered, misused, or missing components
  • Bundles unless returned in full

1-Year Warranty (Repair / Replacement)

  • Covers defects in workmanship and functional failures not caused by misuse
  • Email help@retrovgames.com to start a claim
  • Troubleshooting will be provided before repair/replacement
  • Does not cover accidental damage, misuse, or unauthorized modifications
